Civil Servants To Declare War Against FG,

The Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN) has promised to take up arms against the new administartion of President Muhammadu Buhari in the event that it chooses to cut the salary of civil workers in an offer to diminish the expense of administration.

ASCSN as per Vanguard,  in an announcement yesterday, June 20, by its national president and secretary-general, Comrade Bobboi Bala Kaigama and Comrade Alade Bashir Lawal separately, cautioned that the affiliation will see any endeavor by the government to slice the salary of workers as a welcome to war.


The association criticized the way that few conditions of the alliance were all the while owing common workers bulk salaries and different advantages in the midst of the desires that they come to work, and deal with their family responsibilities.

The failure of states governors to pay the salary of their workers has in time past brought on difference between the federal and state government.

Ex- pastor of finace, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala in May, rebuked the state governors for their powerlessness to pay salaries, noticing they were told through the league accounts portion board of trustees to make the issue of compensation a need.

Some state governors however responded angrily to the allegations by Okonjo-Iweala, blaming her for being prudent with reality.
